Founded in 2018 by seasoned IBEW electrician Melissa Blair, BAM Electrical Contracting was born from a desire to disrupt the norms of a male-dominated industry. After 17 years of field experience and leadership roles that went unrecognized, Melissa decided to bet on herself—and won. Today, BAM (short for Blair, Melissa A.) represents not just a company, but a movement.
Headquartered in Pennsauken, NJ, BAM is a certified M/WBE/SBE and union electrical contracting firm serving commercial and industrial clients throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Our services include everything from high- and low-voltage installations and lighting control systems to fire alarm, intrusion, and communications systems.
